
Heather Mirasol, MS, LPC
Clinical Director
Heather Mirasol is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience providing mental health services in Oregon. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacific University, where she developed a strong foundation in practices proven by research to be effective. She maintains a deep commitment to culturally responsive care and providing an inclusive healing-centered space.
Heather’s professional background includes direct therapeutic work and operational leadership in diverse care settings including Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient, Day Treatment, Inpatient, Therapeutic Foster Care programs. Most recently, she served as the Director of Behavioral Health at Multnomah County, where she focused on strengthening and supporting the broader behavioral health system of care. She has extensive experience and passion in helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate challenges related to adjustment, loss, trauma, and life transitions. She works with all ages and specializes in addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, and disordered eating. Therapy is directed at supporting clients in achieving inner contentment through authentically-connected living.
Grounded in a Cognitive Behavioral framework, Heather integrates strengths-based and self-compassion-focused interventions in her provision of therapy. Her approach emphasizes the interconnection of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and empowers clients through insight, skill development, compassionate accountability, and supportive encouragement. She is actively engaged in the supervision and training of emerging clinicians fully immersed in a systems-minded and heart-centered philosophy.
Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, Heather’s perspective is shaped by the cultural richness of her upbringing. She now calls Portland, Oregon home with immense gratitude for the community and natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Outside of her professional life, Heather enjoys spending time with her children. Together, they take in all the joys of city life and revel in visits to the our nearby mountains, lakes, and coastline.
