Statement of Therapeutic Approach

Empathy, positive regard, and a judgement free space are core components of Jenelle’s person-centered approach to therapy. Using Solutions-Focused Brief therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, and other evidenced-based approaches, she will help you to navigate difficult emotions, interpersonal conflicted, and intense life experiences. As a culturally sensitive therapist, Jenelle strives to understand your unique cultural, identity, and individual experiences because everyone deserves to heal and find inner peace.

What areas of specialization are you developing?

Jenelle targets anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related issues in adults. She also work with individuals in the maintenance stage of change to further explore trauma, co-dependency, and interpersonal conflict. Currently, she is working towards a certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.

What are your academic degrees?
Jenelle holds a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Temple University, and a Master of arts in Applied Clinical Psychology from Pacific University. Jenelle is also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor - Registered.
