Stephanie Kurzenhauser,
MA, MSW, CSWA

Associate Therapist

Stephanie uses a humanistic existential perspective combined with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Narrative Therapy. Her client-centered approach is warm, kind, trustworthy, and calm.

Stephanie centers therapy work in cultural humility, empowerment, and social justice. She understands firsthand that life can be exceptionally painful and difficult, and she finds that supporting clients in identifying what they ‘can’ control often becomes a central source of their transformation.

Working with adults at various life stages and with diverse identities, Stephanie provides a safe and accepting space to explore the connection between one’s mind, body, and spirit. Most of all, she feels deeply honored to accompany clients as they rewrite the story of their lives.

In addition to her M.S.W. degree, Stephanie has a M.A. in Spirituality, Culture and Health with extensive training in meditation, mindfulness, nutrition, expressive arts, and sound healing. She is also certified as a RYT-200 Hatha and Restorative Yoga teacher, utilizing trauma-informed yoga techniques.
